WHO WILL GO…?

“And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘whom shall I send, and who will go for us?’  Then I said, ‘Here am I!  Send me.’  And the Lord said ‘Go…’” ~ Isaiah 6:8-9

“How then will they call on him (Jesus) in whom they have not believed?  And how are they to believe in him of whom they have not heard?  And how are they to hear without someone preaching?  And how are they to preach unless they are sent?  As it is written, ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!’” ~ Romans 10:14-15

God has a plan for all of our lives.  There is a tremendous mission field on the college campus, and God has asked who will go to them.  We have responded “Send Us!”  When students walk onto a college campus they are eager to hear, but what do they believe?  We want to make sure that they believe in God and his message. God has called Tracy and I to work with the students of 20 campuses in the Triad area.  He has called us to preach the good news of the Gospel and we are excited to proclaim the word of God to these students.

Thank you for being a part of making sure these students have a chance to hear the Gospel.  Your prayers and support are making an impact on these students and helping to change the lives of many of them in a way only God can.  You are a blessing to us, and to those whom we work with.  Your feet truly are BEAUTIFUL!

As thousands of freshmen walked across campus for the first day of classes in the Triad, they saw the chaos of “Fall Kickoff”.

Every campus organization represented themselves with an information table and free gifts to entice freshman into taking a look at them.  While students are receiving things from groups like: PRIDE (The gay/lesbian/bi-sexual Group), The Wicca-Pagan Society, Jehovah’s Witness, various fraternities and sororities, and even local nightclubs, Campus Crusade and other ministries are making sure that these students are getting the chance to be exposed to the Gospel.

During “Fall Kickoff” we handed out over 1000 free water bottles on our various campuses while initiating spiritual conversations with students.  Each bottle included information about our ministry, some fun free items, and a magnet with a website which will expose these students to the gospel and give them a chance to have their questions about spiritual issues answered.

Thanks to your prayers and support, as well as that of other concerned individuals, we were able to expose more than 1000 students to the Lord, and take just under 100 students to Crusade’s “Fall Retreat”.  This is the first off campus trip these students have taken this semester, where they participated in praise and worship, some excellent Biblical Teachings, and were grafted into a supportive body of believers who are dedicated to serving the Lord.
